My name is Mohamed and I was sixteen when I started the Access Scholarship program.  My experience helped me improve my English skills, especially speaking, because we spoke in English all the time during the program. We also spoke English on field trips and during various events, which made the program more interesting to students.  At the end of one academic year with Access, I applied for the Crown Prince's International Scholarship program (CPISP), which is considered one of the top scholarship programs in the world.  Thanks to my experience with Access, my English had improved well enough for me to take the IELTS and the SATs, which are requirements for those who want to compete for the CPISP.  I am now a recipient of the CPISP.  I am studying at a prep school in Princeton, New Jersey.  I am about to turn 19, and this year I have a variety of great universities, including Ivy League universities, that I can choose from.  I believe the Access program should continue to inspire more Bahraini young men and women.
