Passport Issuance
- The U.S Embassy can process an application for a replacement passport in the event that a passport is lost or stolen. If you believe your passport has been stolen, report the theft to the local police immediately and get a police declaration.
- For U.S. citizens age 16 and over a first-time passport costs US$ 100.00, and passport renewal cost US$ 75.00. For U.S. citizens under age 16 a first-time passport renewal costs US$ 85.00. All fees must be paid in U.S. currency, or by credit card.
- Passports generally take approximately two weeks to process.
